Who We Are

Doctoral Pathways is a team of dedicated scholars, researchers, and highly experienced dissertation coaches who share the same passion: helping doctoral students complete their doctoral journey. Each of our doctoral experts have served on a minimum of 100 dissertation committees, either as the chair, methodologist, or third reader. We are current on all CITI certifications and are proficient in APA 7th edition.

Dr. Greg Benson, Ph.D., MBA, M.Ed. is an experienced dissertation consultant and research methodologist who has supported doctoral students through every stage of the dissertation process, from topic development and proposal writing to data analysis and final defense. He has served on over 400 dissertation committees, providing expert guidance in research design, methodology alignment, and scholarly writing.

Dr. Benson specializes in quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods research, with particular expertise in inferential statistics, advanced data analysis, and IRB-ready research design. As a graduate professor of statistics and dissertation methodology, he has helped hundreds of doctoral learners clarify their research questions, strengthen their methodological rigor, and confidently defend their studies.

He earned his Ph.D. in Higher Education Leadership and has published extensively on topics related to research design, leadership, retention, and applied statistics. His scholarly work appears in peer-reviewed journals and academic books, and he regularly presents at national and international research conferences.

Dr. Benson’s consulting approach is student-centered, ethical, and outcomes-driven. He emphasizes clarity, structure, and academic integrity while empowering doctoral candidates to become independent scholars. At Doctoral Pathways, he is dedicated to helping students overcome dissertation barriers and achieve timely, successful degree completion.
